Oak View Manor
How lucky are we that this beautiful old landmark has been our family home for almost 70 years. Commissioned in 1917 by Dr Nixon, one of two doctors in Luitenant Valentine's Manchester Infantry commando, this stately old home is said to have been built using mostly imported materials from the UK.
To share it with you and make it more hospitality friendly a gentle evolution of sensitive restoration and well-considered alteration began in 2017. The idea remains to make ongoing improvements that appear to have always been there.
